A stressed out mother
With no man to support her
Driving from work
She have two kids to feed
And unpaid bills sleeping
On the dining table
And their snoring
Echoes in her head
As she argues about her pay over the phone
She fumbles for a cigarette in her purse
With her attention lost for a second
She never notice the side of the truck
She's just about to hit
A lonely dreamer
With his mind set on another
So near, yet far apart
With insufficient means to connect
And unpaid visits
Waiting to get repaid
Hopeful minds wishing to synchronize
And then the time finally comes
When she arrives
Deprived of life she now completes her living
He fumbles with words when she's around
And then she hushes him quiet, smiling
They've never been so alive
Not even a second left
There's not even time to blink
But it is rather amazing
How much time there's to think
