Jinxed?

We walk down the neck of a fork
Looking at the ground with sound beliefs
Embraced by the bliss formed by the bud
That has yet to flower
Sooner or later one will fall
And with numb arms, hands, feet and legs
Fighting to stand up again

We walk inside a complex labyrinth
With walls of shifting opacity
Sometimes so transparent that we can't even see them
Eager to reach the exit, we forget
To reach out our hands to see if there's anything in the way
And so we rush into a wall with our heads first

I'm driving in a roundabout
Round and round
Hesitating where to turn
Where to go

Feels like swimming through a current working against you
Consisting of nothing but syrup
Every individual effort draining ones stamina, tempting one to give in
But in the depth there's nothing to get
And the bottom sinks lower for every moment we intentionally neglect
Pulling ourselves together and drag us above the surface
Saving our sanity from asphyxiation

So keep on swimming

Too many are they who are jailed in their own chains
Feeling powerless to brake free, unable to
Administrate the strength inside, to channel their
Qualities in a constructive direction
Negative patterns from the past soil
The path ahead

Release the pain

Don't give up
We are many
It's not insanity
Keep on fighting

Don't give in
We are many
Don't mind the insanity
Keep on fighting
